Shades of Gray: Ray Hanania’s World Comic Strip, July 17, 2009
Dozens of Israeli soldiers, risking retribution, violence and persecution, have stepped up to confess that they were ordered to shoot innocent men, women and children during the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip. Israelis who claim to support peace have shut their eyes to the war crimes, pretending that only Hamas has engaged in terrorism. But reports by the top human rights organizations in the world have pointed a finger at Israel saying they engaged in outrageous examples of war crimes including soldiers using civilians and children as human shields as they rampaged through the civilian neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip allegedly pursuing terrorists but instead seeking to destroy the region’s infra-structure and impose greater hardships on the citizens. Shame on Israel’s government, its military but shame even more on the silence of the Israeli people.

Satire and commentary on the toughest issues in our world. Israel says it supports peace with the Palestinians, but the government’s actions beg the question, “What kind of peace?”

Lethal Competition in the Holy Land
Maria C. Khoury, Ed. D. –
I think I became angry at my brother the other day expressing my wish and hope that the Israeli leadership should be punished over the accused war crimes in Gaza. So my brother just laughed on the phone saying: “Don’t hold your breath…Remember they are the Chosen People…Israel is above all laws…” Read more »

HANANIA: Israel and Hamas both guilty of war crimes, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, 12-28-08

Both Israel and Hamas share blood stained policies in Gaza war crimes
By Ray Hanania –
If you listen to the Palestinians and Arab groups organizing protests against Israel’s attacks that have killed more than 200, mostly civilians, you would think Israel was unprovoked. And, if you listen to the Israelis who have both the one-sided and biased mainstream American media and pro-Israeli American government establishment on their side, you would think that Israel had to kill the Palestinians to prevent more killings of Israelis. Dr. Death, Karadzic, finally brought to justice.
While watching the trial of Karadzic, let’s not forget the victims of genocide
By Aladdin Elaasar –
(New York City, NY) Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic has long been one of the most wanted men in the world. The notorious Karadzic, also dubbed as Dr. Death, was accused of leading the slaughter of thousands of Bosniaks and Croats, and twice been indicted by the United Nations war crimes tribunal in The Hague. The UN estimates that his forces killed at least 7,500 Muslim men and boys from Srebrenica in July 1995, as part of a campaign to “terrorize and demoralize the Bosnian Muslim and Bosnian Croat population”. HANANIA: The Assault against the Arab/Islamic media, For Immediate Release, 11-10-07

The assault against the Arab media

By Ray Hanania – We often compare the Iraq War to the Vietnam War. Slowly, maybe too slowly, many Americans have come to accept the comparisons based on government lying, military efforts to silence the media, and persistent stories of American soldiers committing war crimes.  A key player in defining this new reality is the news media. During the Vietnam War, the mainstream American media helped show Americans the truth about the Vietnam War. Tragically, the media covering the Iraq War is far from the noble or principled media that exposed Vietnam War atrocities and crimes. Read more »
