That Great Satan Iran and the hypocrisy of the mainstream American news media and public when it comes to what is right and what is wrong in the world. We’ll blast Iran and its President Ahmadinejad but we are silent when the same actions are taken in Israel or in the U.S. War in Iraq.

Mother’s Day gift from Hillary Clinton—Obliterate Iran?
By Saffiya Shillo – As a woman I was thrilled to see, in my lifetime, a woman run for president. A woman that actually had a good chance at winning. On the heals of the primary in Indiana and a Mother’s Day weekend, the race for Democratic Party nominee ends. As it does, Mother’s across America need to seriously reconsider their support for Hillary Clinton. She has crossed the line of motherhood by vowing to “obliterate” Iran this past week. Threatening to kill mothers and children does not reflect well on American mothers. She has revealed that she does not have the compassion and wisdom to be president. The very thing people are looking for in a woman president. Read more »

Patience is the road to reconciliation with Iran
By Anisa Mehdi — Two weeks ago today I left Iran. I was sorry to leave after such a short visit – just one week. I was attending a conference and got to spent time with friends I hadn’t seen since my last trip to Iran, six years ago. Well, for starters, we do not need another hyper-nationalist dictator pointing fingers at the West, America and the favorite old target of his alikes; the State of Israel, to deflect the public’s attention from nagging domestic issues like unemployment, poverty oppression and corruption. Conspiracy theories of the outside enemy have become the favorite rhetoric of dictators for a long time. They work like magic with the masses. Read more »

HANANIA: Time to expel the United Nations, For Immediate Release, 9-23-07
Time to expel United Nations to a nation that is freeBy Ray Hanania — You do not have to agree with Iranian President Ahmadinejad to criticize President Bush for his hypocritical comments and the restrictive political policies he encourages that discriminate against Arabs and Muslims in America. The Iranian Leader has much to answer for, including oppressing his own people and highly publicized incendiary comments such as denying Israel’s right to exist, and allegedly calling the Holocaust a “myth.” Read more »
