HANANIA: Hamas kills civilians but not as many as Israel, For Immediate Release May 17, 2008

Hamas kills civilians, but not as many as Israel
By Ray Hanania —
Reuters, which is slightly more objective in covering the Palestinian-Israeli conflict than most of its other Western counterparts, conservatively estimates that Israel’s military has killed “more than 100″ Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip during the past four months of this year. Palestinians put the number higher, at more than 250. B’tselem, the besieged Israeli human rights organization ostracized by fellow Jews, reports that Israeli soldiers have killed a total of 323 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the year. When it comes to counting Palestinian lives, the numbers are always fast and loose, often dictated by Israeli control and a pro-Israel Western news media that hesitates to criticize Israeli policies too harshly. HANANIA: Hamas peace is an oxymoron, For Immediate Release, April 28, 2009

Hamas peace is an oxymoron
By Ray Hanania –
Former President Jimmy Carter was sincere in his efforts to bridge the current conflict by bringing Hamas into a role as a participant in peace negotiations. But he is naïve is believing Hamas wants peace. Hamas is an extremist Islamist group that has succeeded in outdoing Israel’s government in committing violent acts and that has one goal, the creation of an Islamic Republic in Palestine. Hamas doesn’t want peace. It wants Israel’s defeat, something it will probably never have, at least not before wreaking a holocaust on its own people through escalating violence and conflict.

HANANIA: Arabs driven by biases that mirror Israeli biases, For Immediate Release, March 16, 2008

Arabs driven by biases that mirror Israeli biases
By Ray Hanania –
Last month, Hamas terrorists fired rockets into Israel and killed an Israeli girl. The attack provoked a massive response from Israel which claimed to target Hamas militants but ended up killing dozens of Palestinian civilians. Palestinians, Muslims and Arabs roundly condemned the Israeli attacks, but made no mention of the murder of the Israeli girl. Israelis were no different, condemning the murder of the little girl and then excusing away the murder of scores of innocent Palestinian civilians. As the back and forth escalated, the partisanship increased with Palestinians ignoring their attacks against Israel and Israelis ignoring their attacks against Palestinians. And people wonder why peace has been elusive so far in the Middle East.

ARCHIVED HANANIA: How Israel’s extremists midwifed the birth of Hamas, For Immediate Release, March 9, 2008

Sharon’s Terror Child: How the Likud Bloc Mid-wifed the Birth of Hamas
By RAY HANANIA –
Hamas is considered one of Israel’s greatest threats, but the Islamic terrorist organization found its beginnings in the misguided Israeli effort to encourage the rise of a religious alternative that would undermine the popularity of the Palestine Liberation Organization and Yasir Arafat. The strategy resulted in the birth of Hamas which rose from these Islamic roots. Read more »

HANANIA: Israel hides immoral conduct behind Congressional hypocrisy, For Immediate Release, March 7, 2008

Israel hides immoral conduct behind Congressional hypocrisy
By Ray Hanania —
This week, the U.S. Congress once again threw kerosene on Middle East violence and suffering, insuring the violence will continue, not end. Approved 404 to 1, House Resolution 951 is filled with dozens of paragraphs condemning Hamas and its rocket attacks against Israel, while defending Israel’s government response which has killed scores of innocent Palestinian men, women and children. The end result is that by playing one-sided politics, Congress is helping to destroy Israel and all hope moderate Palestinians have for their own secular, independent state. Read more »

HANANIA: Gaza killings fault of Hamas and silent Palestinians, too, For Immediate Release, March 1, 2008

Gaza killings fault of Hamas and silent Palestinians, too
By Ray Hanania – Hamas is a terrorist organization that is as dedicated to the destruction of Israel as it is to the destruction of the secular Palestinian society and the elimination of Christian Palestinians and secular Muslims. The organization has never advocated rights for secular or Christian Arabs in Palestine and have always embraced violence as a means of creating an environment in which they hope to one day achieve their fascist goals. You cannot blame Israel for the deaths without speaking out even more forcefully against the terrorist policies of Hamas.

HANANIA: Finally justice in the Boim persecution of Arabs and Muslims, For Immediate Release, 12-29-07

Another defeat handed in politically motivated “Terrorism” cases
By Ray Hanania —
The only good thing that can be said about the current corruption of the “American justice” system driven by anti-Arab and anti-Muslim biases is that the initial rulings can be overturned. It happened this week in the overturning of the injustice of the David Boim Terrorism case. Read more »

HANANIA: Don’t allow Hamas to recapture control of Palestine, For Immediate Release, 12-11-07

Don’t allow Hamas to regain any control in Palestine
By Ray Hanania –
The acronym FATAH is based on the Arabic words “Harakat al-Tahrir (Al-Watani) al-Filasteen,” a movement dedicated to the (national) liberation of Palestine. Hamas is based on the Arabic words “Harakat Al-Muqawama Al-Islamia” which is a movement dedicated to zealous Islam, not the liberation of Palestine. Many people say the Oslo Peace Accords failed because the differences between Israelis and Palestinians were huge. But that is a lie. In truth, the real problem was Hamas. The failure of peace has always been caused by Hamas, a religious terrorist organization that as soon as it is done wiping out all the Jews in Palestine and Israel will quickly turn its wrath on Arab Christians. CARTOON: Anti-Semitism, to racism to Americanism, For Immediate Release 11-18-07

War on Errorism Cartoon, Nov. 18, 2007. Hamas, Don Imus, Michael Savage

War on Errorism, Nov. 18, 2007. The hypocrisy of the American mainstream news media. Some kinds of racism and bigotry are bad. And some forms of racism are just another form of Americanism. When Don Imus slanders African Americans, it’s a media felony. When Michael Savage blasts Muslims, it’s just free speech. Ray Hanania

HANANIA: Hamas violence in Gaza justifies harsh PNA response, For Immediate Release, 11-12-07

Hamas violence in Gaza justifies harsh PNA response

By Ray Hanania – Too many apologists for the Hamas terrorist organization have tried to assert that the Islamicist organization is a product of Democracy that is seeking to democratically represent the Palestinian people and salvage them from years of Israeli oppression. They argue that because the group won one election, it therefore is the legitimate representative of the Palestinian people. But the truth is Hamas is not a Democracy at all, but a religious dictatorship. It used the last elections to destroy secular Palestinian society and replace it with a fundamentalist bastardization of Islam. Read more »
