HANANIA: Obama’s growing pro-Israel cabinet should not worry allies of just peace, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, 11-07-08

Obama’s Growing Pro-Israel Cabinet Should Not Worry Allies of Just Peace
By Ray Hanania –
Like all Arab Americans, I was disturbed when Barack Obama selected U.S. Senator Joseph Biden as his running mate. Biden’s appointment was clearly intended as a signal to put Jewish American and pro-Israel voters at ease. It was designed to counter the concerns raised by the hatemongering campaign against Obama by fanatics like Michelle Malkin, Sean Hannity, Daniel Pipes and others who asserted that the Democratic candidate was “a Muslim” and a “friend of Palestinians.” Read more »

HANANIA: Bailout collapse costs the American people, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, 9-29-08

Bailout battle costs the American people real money
By Ray Hanania  –
Republicans are blaming the Democrats and Democrats are blaming the Republicans for the crash of the stock market in the wake of the failure of the Congress to approve the $700 billion economic bailout. But I have to blame someone else. Read more »

HANANIA: Government seeks to muzzle Halliburton criticism, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, Sept. 27, 2008

Bush administrations moves to choke off Mazon defense
By Ray Hanania –
The Bush administration moved to prevent Jeff Mazon from making a defense that would most certainly shift the blame from charges he took a bribe to the more important questionable track record of his former employers, Halliburton. In a motion made to U.S. District Court Judge Joe Billy McDade earlier this month, the Bush administration asked that Mazon be denied the right to argue the most fundamental issues driving alleged corruption in the handling of war-related contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan. ALARABI: The US top secret in Iraq and the Israeli connection, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, 9-10-08

The US top secret in Iraq and the Israeli connection

By Ali Alarabi  – Bob Woodward’s newest book “the War within”  which he reveals in it how the  Bush administration has administrated the war in Iraq and in it he talks about a US secret program to counter the Iraqi insrugency. Woodward told CNN’s Larry king, earlier this week, that he has obtained secret information on the workings of US military in Iraq that enabled the US forces  to stem the tide of violence and al-Qaeda terrorism in Iraq. HANANIA: What is it about retiring presidents and their legacies? FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, 8-28-08

What is it about retiring presidents and their legacies?
By Ray Hanania –
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has visited the Middle East more in the past several months than during her entire term in office. In addition to trying to close a deal to remove American soldiers from Iraq, Rice seems eager to push the Palestinians and Israelis into some kind of deal before her boss leaves office. The push in Iraq is not surprising. The war has been a disaster and Bush needs to show that he was in control before he leaves office and loses all control. Bush will forever be remembered for his lies, deceit and his mishandling of the War on Terrorism, pushing Americans into the wrong front against al-Qaeda and failing to capture the mastermind of Sept. 11, 2001, Osama Bin laden. HANANIA: Analysis — al-Jazeera continues to stir up passions, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, AUG 13, 2008

Al-Jazeera continues to stir up passions
By Ray Hanania –
The Arab World Satellite network al-Jazeera has reportedly been given media access to the Republican and Democratic conventions and many mainstream journalists see it as a big story. It’s only a big story because the mainstream American media is the most unprofessional, most biased and most discriminatory against the Arab and Muslim World in the world. Read more »

HANANIA: Obama’s victory far from secure, may need Clinton role, For Immediate Release, June 4, 2008

Obama’s victory far from secure, may need Clinton role
By Ray Hanania –
I voted for Hillary Clinton in the Illinois Democratic Primary. At the time, I wasn’t sure who Barack Obama really was. I know Hillary from her years as First Lady and later as a New York Senator. She is formerly from Illinois. Obama was an obscure State Senator from the South Side who somehow managed to become a speaker at the 2004 Democratic National Convention and a U.S. Senator. Although I have been impressed on and off by his skills as an orator, I am not exactly sure what it is he brings to the table other than what everyone keeps telling me is “change.” Read more »

HANANIA: Can we “obliterate” the emotion-filled election pandering, please? For Immediate Release, May 4, 2008

Can we “obliterate” the emotion-filled election pandering, please?
By Ray Hanania – I think I actually now prefer a president who can’t properly pronounce the word “nuclear” over someone who keeps using it like the theme in a “Get Out the Vote” election strategy. Hillary Clinton said she would “obliterate” Iran if the Persian nation were to use a nuclear weapon against Israel. My guess is Israel can take care of itself. But vowing to “obliterate” Iran sure doesn’t hurt when you face the very likely possibility that the only way to win the Democratic Party nomination is to steal it. Read more »

HANANIA: Something annoying about Hillary Clinton, For Immediate Release, April 23, 2008

Something annoying about Hillary Clinton
By Ray Hanania –
There’s something about Hillary Clinton that’s starting to bug me. As a very independent Democrat who originally leaned heavily towards Hillary Clinton against the tide of Illinois support for Barack Obama, her negative attacks against Obama and smug-sounding cockiness in winning the Pennsylvania primary – one state – is bugging me. HANANIA: Truth comes out in Iraq war-related contract-abuse case, For Immediate Release, April 18, 2008

Truth starts to leak out in Iraq war contract-abuse case
By Ray Hanania –
The U.S. Attorney is prosecuting what should be a high profile case involving corrupt practices in Iraq-war related contracts in the backyards of the Midwest apparently to protect Halliburton, the company formerly run by Vice President Dick Cheney. But instead, the case is being handled like a petty crime in a middle America suburb. That decision has resulted in suppressing the shocking headlines, and silencing any talk about the clear ties that the Iraq war-related corruption has to the administration of President George W. Bush. Now we know why. Read more »
