Boy. That didn’t take long for Facebook to cave in to extremist pro-Israel pressure. The ink wasn’t dry on yesterday’s column in which I applauded Facebook for doing the right thing. Doing the right thing is so rare in today’s world of lying, deception and political principle. And apparently, it’s even rarer at Facebook when it comes to the issue of Palestine and Israel.

Slowly, maybe too slowly, many Americans have come to accept the comparisons based on government lying, military efforts to silence the media, and persistent stories of American soldiers committing war crimes.  A key player in defining this new reality is the news media. During the Vietnam War, the mainstream American media helped show Americans the truth about the Vietnam War. By Ray Hanania – A federal panel says that a Saudi Arabian school based in Northern Virginia should be closed because they don’t like some of the things they assert the school is teaching its students. Not surprisingly, the actions of the so-called U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (CIRF) are no different from other U.S. commissions controlled by the Bush Administration that have shown a clear pattern of anti-Arab and anti-Muslim bias.
